VNA
When you're looking for care for someone recovering from surgery, illness or injury - we can help. We offer a wide range of skilled services that meet the needs of homebound patients who require skilled care as ordered by a physician.
Skilled Nursing Care
At the heart of our services is skilled nursing. Our experienced staff is trained to meet the special challenges presented in the home environment. Our nurses work directly with physicians and other members of the health care team to develop the most effective treatment plan for the patient. We offer the compassionate, innovative, quality care that is so important to a patient's health and well being.
Rehabilitative Therapy
Our staff of licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists are available to provide rehabilitation therapy as prescribed by the physician. Patients progress more rapidly when therapy is provided in the comfort of their homes.
Patient Education
Sometimes the most difficult part of coping with an illness is trying to understand it. Our Visiting Nurse professionals are experts at educating patients and their families about a particular disease process, treatment, therapy and/or medication program. Using easy-to-understand educational material, patients learn about their disease and treatment, and how their involvement can help improve their condition and enhance their quality of life.
Infusion Therapy
Our staff can provide this therapy or teach patients or their family how to safely administer the treatment in the home setting.
Counseling Support
In cases where cognitive or emotional problems result from an illness, injury or change in life situation, we can provide professional counseling. We work closely with the physician to ensure that the most appropriate support is provided.
Assessment and Evaluations
Our highly-skilled professionals are trained to assess the home care needs of individual patients to determine what services are needed. Families and patients may call us directly for a free in-home evaluation.
Personal Care
Sometimes the simple act of brushing one's hair or putting on a shirt is a difficult task. Our home health aides assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, ambulating and transferring from bed to chair or commode. The comfort and peace of mind that these important tasks provide when completed is invaluable.
